In this workshop attendees will be led to find sensation in long held yoga postures designed to release energy blockages in the body. While in the posture, Thai Assist techniques will be applied to help the student deepen into what they feel and help further release these blockages. The practice will end with a deep dive into absolute stillness with a guided yoga nidra meditation. This workshop will be co-led by Sonya CYT/ Yoga Therapy Facilitator and Tamara Licensed Massage Therapist/CYT.
Yoga therapy helps facilitate the release of blocked experiences in the body. When these blockages are released, the optimal flow of energy is reestablished and the body can find its way back to its natural balanced state.
